Kim Oakley was introduced to Risk Management in 1999, when she served as the Director of Safety at Recoton Corporation an electronics manufacturer in Lake Mary, FL. In 2004, she was hired at Massey Services as a Risk Management Administrator and earned promotions that led her to serve as the Director of Risk Management in 2009. Kim was responsible for the identification and management of operation and industry specific risks, which could adversely impact the $290 million company.
Kim has managed all activities that are associated with worker’s compensation claims, automobile accident claims and personal injury claims for the company’s 167 service centers in 8 states with 2,500 team members. In addition, she assisted the Vice President of Quality Assurance with all General Liability Lawsuits and Litigation.
During her 17 year tenure with Massey, the company grew to become the fifth largest pest management company in the nation.
